Now it’s time to assemble the top of the enclosure. You’ll find some similarities between this and the base that was just assembled.
*Note: If you plan on driving your Bowie around a lot (who wouldn’t?) we recommend blue thread lock on the fastener threads. It’s possible some pieces may require sanding.
Fasteners required
Enclosure Top:
- 21 x 10mm screws
- 21 x washers
- 21 x nuts
The top assembly is very similar to the base assembly. Arrange the tiles of your top assembly to look like the image below.
Using 6x10mm screws, fasten the tiles at the highlighted points with washers and screws.
Using 6x10mm screws, fasten the tiles at the highlighted points with washers and screws.
Next, fasten the tiles along the above highlighted points using 5x10mm screws, washers and nuts.
Fasten these tiles together using 4x10mm screws, washers and nuts.
Now use 6x10mm screws, washers and nuts to fasten these tiles together.
